yes, it has been a while since i've have a crazy link of the day, but i think this one deserves the title.
I came across these animation things for the band Evermore. this one grabbed my attention immediatly, no prizes for guessing why.

p.s a lot goes on, but nothing happens
there is no answers for the fricken transcriptions of rhythms!!!!
how sexual is this guy?
Emma and Angus' conversation.
this expression is unique says:
do you find this man attractive?
ANGGY!!! says:
WOW!!!!
this expression is unique says:
hot stuff hey
ANGGY!!! says:
the head alone is undescribable, that combined with the thick glasses is just trendy and hot, no other way to describe it. IMO the fact that he is clean shaven works well too. if he has a beard it may ruin/offset the hair badly
ANGGY!!! says:
a mustache could work
this expression is unique says:
yes. a nice donovan moustache would be hot

p.s he calls himself JC3000
uhhh... right...
well, i randomly just found this test via stumbleupon which is where i find most of my random sites.
anyway, i did a personality disorder test and well... see for yourselves;
in other words, i am generally detached from social relationships, and i show a narrow range of emotional expression in various social settings. also i am sort of uncomfortable in close relationships, i may have perceptual distortions, and peculiarities of behavior. plus i am a little bit socially inhibited, i sometimes feel inadequate, and perhaps i am oversensitive to criticism.
Oh joy.
- Em xoxo
p.s if anyone else takes the test, please feel free to copy it into the comments (there is a little thing that says "To place your results on your own site use the following code:" - use that) i would be really interested to see if others results. (you can do it anonymously if you would like too)

bombastic & wowzers!
due to popular demand, I am back again for yet another blog entry. i feel kinda funny writing this, it feels like the ben lee "running with scissors" video. it starts off all hardcore showing him walking in slow motion backstage with his band about to go on stage. then it goes to black and on screen it says "over the years, ben lee has performed to almost 13 people" then it shows him all hardcore again, then black and it says "this is for you, the fans" then her breaks out it that hot running with scissors riff. in the croud at the gig there is one hardcore fan who is the single guy in the mosh, the others are a couple down the back making out and some angry woman somewhere else. plus a waitress and a barman. its very amusing. the venue kinda resembles the ding dong lounge too, with that beautiful silver cloth.
anyway, the last few days have been fun. well, if you remove the monotonous studying and hermit like behaviour. sunday night was noni's birthday bash where a bunch of girls (thank god! i thought salona was going to attempt to set me up with her mate... again) went to china town and got food thrown at them. i had a great time, many laughs were had and ahhh... yeah. it was super. the hot chocolate from max brenner was totally rockin!
i have semi been working on my year book page which is now complete. its kinda weird. but im too lazy to fix it. and im not totally happy with the writing. but hey. i don't really care too much, so why should anyone else. it contains approx 5 photos, each one is of me, some even have other people in them. not to give anything away there. gary makes an appearance... kinda. there aren't many names mentioned, simply because i'm like heck, this is a book full of my friends, why should i try to fit them all onto one page. here is a short excert... there may be a few slash a lot of word missing from it. so here we go.
"i was huge. i met feral kumikos smuggling the french slipchicks. evil midgets eating pastries from gmail."
yes. exciting stuff hey kids! here is a sneak peak at the page. how joyful.
Thhis morning i went to school for a brass rehearsal. my exam will be over in 2 more weeks, then i don't have to play fricken fossiles or mack the knife ever again! oh the joy! but i'll miss my boys. slash... ill miss lachlan. tom however i'll be glad to see the back of. at the rehearsal mr b was there, and my god did he look good. best yet. i think it was the shoes mixed with the magic dirt tee mixed with the suit mixed with the aviator glasses. i'll miss him too next year. hes a good guy, even if his sense of humour is a bit skewed. and his damn ticking that he does, that drives me insane. he ALWAYS does this... i dunno how to explain it. like a "tisk" sound through his teeth. anyway, he does it in break of his speech, and when he's counting in a piece. like instead of going "1, 2; 1 2 3 4" he'll just "tisk" the beat. and when he thinks he tisks. its very annoying. and he also says "very' alot. meh. he's still cool.
anyway, im tired and relaxed, but i feel like eating. i bought mum a carrot cake for her b/day from browns. its good. did i mention its her birthday today? anway, i may go eat. then i may go for a walk. i feel like walking. although at this time of night the bugs are out. and some animal is thrashing around outside.

"turn it all into a hard drive, and plug me in!" - Steve
HAPPYBIRTHDAYSALONA!!! It's Salona's 17th Birthday today. Hip Hip Hooray! Woo! She was very cool for a 16 year old, but she's even cooler as a 17 year old.
For those that don't know Salona, she's my IT nerd buddy, as well as my form buddy, and she likes to make fun of me, and abuse me and hurt my feeling unintentionally, but it doesn't matter because she is a midget. The circus is hiring soon too, so she might go off and join the freak show there. Here is another present for her.
Yes, to all those unfamiliar with Mr Flowers, thats right, he is wearing a silk pink jacket, and yes he is wearing makeup... this is also normal for Mr Flowers. Oh, and to those confused out there, Salona actually finds this man very attractive.
This young man is known as Saif Ali Khan, and just like Brandon Flowers above, Salona wants to have this mans babies as she is in love with him. Please feel free to click on the mages to enlarge them for your viewing "pleasures" *cough*
I love you Salona! Have a super year as a 17 year old, it goes really quickly, but kinda slow as well, as you really want to be 18 really super quick. man, I want to be 18. only 6 months to go for me!!!

today has just been cool part. 2
wow. Digital TV is the most amazing thing ever (after me of course!) its cool n stuff. and it has ch31 which means Fish Cam!!! and it also has ABC2 - I don't really know what that means, but there are more shows to watch!!! AND there are ummm... TV guides n stuff. And wow!!! its the most coolest thing ever.
In other news, there is a sad part. Right now I can hear the horrible sound of my dad destroying the giant box. Which means I can't sit in it and stuff. the box was massive. It wasn't quite the size of a refridgerator box, but it was big enough to fit my bean bag, myself and my homework in it.I shal draw you all a picture. Yes, I realise I am a crap artist. I should have just done a stick figure, but then it may not have been in proportion. Meh. But thats basically how big the box was. It was one cool box.
Theres a possom outside, and I think it is sick, I think it wants my cat to eat it, because it is just sitting there infront of my cat. And my cat is just sitting there, contemplating whether to get up from his nice warm position or not.
- Em xoxo
today has just been cool
Our new TV arrived today. The delivery man woke me up... twice. So after a huge struggle to turn the box upside down, undo the things, turn it back the right way and then take the box off, i finally ummm... got the box off. Then I read the instruction book, whilst I was inside the box. It was cool, I attached my torch to the roof and it was like a little house. Upon reflection that is something a 7 year old might do, not a 17 year old. Meh... I'm home alone and in my pyjamas, I can do whatever I want. What semi sucks about the new TV is that its partially a Christmas present from my rellies. So that means no christmas money for me this year, but I don't want to complain because well... It's a new really cool TV!!!
So then I went on with my 7 year old behaviour and started zapping things with the new fancy remote which has a button for everything.
Then I crawled back into the box and read some more. But I heard some rank noise coming from the outside world. So I clambered out of the box and found my cat was half way through coughing up a hairball. Yum. So I picked him up at arms length and chucked him out the door just in time.
After that I went down to post off my application for the B. IT at swinburne. But it's really poor. FIngers crossed I get an interview (and then an ENTER score to match.)
When I came back from the post box I found a letter addressed to my Mum in the mail. It was from Malawi!!! So I ran inside and called my Mum to ask if I could open it. And yes, it was from the only person I know in Malawi; our world vision child, Mfuneyi. It's pretty cool. There are two little people on it, one is green and fat with big ears and the other is small and pink with a green thumb. Look! (click to enlarge) - Em xoxo

Extended Study Break Procrastination Effort #3
School is so poo. Why is nothing working at the moment? Stupid James won't call, my trombone mouthpiece smells weird, I can't think of another skill that other people think I have and my band is all on holidays at different times. Meh.

Extended Study Break Procrastination Effort #2
I hope you all enjoyed the puzzles that didn't work. well, they do work if you click on my little links. but that takes you away from my blog. so thats not cool.
So this afternoons attempt at procrastinating studying was quite poor, I managed to get a full hours worth in before Rach from the Red Painting Street Team messaged me to email James, who I am going to meet tomorrow in the City at 4pm. How random.
After that Polly and I had a bit of a chat, then I went to go and fill in my application for my dream course. Half way through that I realised that unless I actually do some studying, there is no way they are even going to grant me an interview. When I was doing it I realised that in the VTAC book, the Middle band ENTER score that is written there was actually my mates, Noels. He got the lowest ENTER or something. Poor kid. Actually, he's damn lucky. Grrr. I wish I was him.
Anyway, I just randomly found this it is possibly the most beautiful thing I have seen since the "im too sexy" professor snape thing. I've never really been a fan of OK Go, but I think this has just won me over. The choreography is to die for. If anyone wants to learn this dance with me so we can whack it out at parties, then please tell me! The guy in red is funny to watch cos he can't dance. Actually, the tall guy in the blue shirt is possibly worse, but he's hot, so it doesn't matter, as hot guys rarely have any talent. That said, the little non-bald guy is an OK dancer, and he's the hottest of the lot. Meh, I stand corrected.
Speaking of dancers, I saw the ballroom dancer technician from school at southland the other day with his wife/girlfriend. Or possibly his sister or mother. I didn't really get a good look at her. But he looked funny in his non technician clothes. He is still equally as tight looking.
You know, you'd expect drummers to be co-ordinated and good dancers. But the guy in the red vest is the drummer for OK Go. Actually, come to think of it, I don't know any MALE drummers that are good dancers. Mind you, I only know like 4 male drummers.
I hope everyone elses procrastination attempts are going equally as well as mine!

Extended Study Break Procrastination Effort #1
Hello all. So who else has been procrastinating their study? I'm quite proud, I've managed to do just three hours so far. I think thats pretty good. Mind you, some people are beating me me no study at all.
Anyway, this morning I have been busy making stuff. Some being... PUZZLES!!! (I'm not sure if they will work, so let me post and prey that it does. However, if it doesn't go here.)
Ahhh, so before I nap, I shal fill you all in on the past few days. Not that any of you would be particually interested. Friday was the last day of school. YEY! We officially now have more holidays than we do of school days. woo! Then that night was Jonos bash. That was good. Much better than expected. There were a few stomach explosions. Poor small people that can't hold booze. Mind you, Chris B is quite large... but lets just forget about him. On my walk home I managed to fall down and graze my knee. Stupid brighton sidewalks. Damn tree roots. Silly darkness. Then the next day I woke up feeling really seedy. But I had to go and pick up megans present. When i got to the shop apparently the guy sold it just a few days before. Even though I had it on hold. According to the dude (the one Amy is going to marry) a girl came in saying that she wanted an Incubus Hoodie, and the guy asked her if she had it on hold or something, and she said yes. Or some crack like that. Fucking bitch. I hate her guts. I bet you shes blonde.
Then after that my day picked up... momentarily, until Salona shut me down (Noel called, and I asked him if he wanted to come with me to Megans - but salona didn't let me because she thought I was bringing some other guy... possibly pete. im not sure.) Then it just sucked again, cos I had no present for megan. But I overcame that problem by combining my original idea (cereal packet containing hoodie) and just wandering around Myer for half an hour, and calling salona for help.
Megans that night was super. I wore my new skirt thing. But I hadn't drunken enough water that day so I still had a slight hangover. which then just added to this mornings one. It sucks to be me. I had to leave megans at 11.00 as I had to be at work at 6.50am the following morning. It sucks to be me. it really does.
Then after work I met Lisa, Amy, Kate, Salona, Polly, Megan, and poor sick Lucy in town because we were off to see the Ballet. We saw Romeo and Juliet. Actually, we were mainly there to see super dooper Isabel, who was playing in the orchestra. Man that girl is talented. But we had a lot of fun, we managed to embarass the poor girl on many occassions throughout the performance, so our task was done. We also got to see trumpet boy, tristan, who Isabel has a slight crush on. He's a bit of a looker too! I was looking out for any hot trombone guys. But as usual there were none. The best I've ever seen is probably Jono. And whilst he's a good (ha, the first time i tried to write "good" there i wrote goon. ha!) looking guy, he's no trumpet boy from the Melbourne Youth Orchestra. Actually come to think of it, Bain is probably the best looking trombone dude Ive seen. I think it's all in his suits though. And his aviator glasses. mmm...
So thats pretty much it. I now have three weeks of holidays. Well, "extended study break" or whatever the crack its called.

today has been poo
today can only get better as it can't get any worse. and i feel like absolute crap. I didn't drink enough this morning, so I still have a hangover... and it's 6.16pm!!! I feel so seedy. I just want to die in a hole.
There was a brief moment of sunshine but then the clouds came. The clouds were in the shape of Salona.
I hope Megans is going to be rockin. Although, I'm sure it will be, even if my special guest isn't allowed to come.
Shitty start to the "extended study break." I hope the next 3 weeks only get better and better. Then its 2 weeks of school... then exams... and then FREEDOM!!!

yes, four posts in one day... salona, you don't have to say it. i already know i'm a loser.
On the back of one of this months libra pads one of the little facts is
Odd Spot #65 You are more likely to get attacked by a cow than a shark.
So I was like, that is very true. I generally spend more time around Cows than I do sharks, generally because I don't swim in the ocean... often. But I do like farms and the country. I have never been attacked by a shark. yet I have been attacked by a cow.
It was August 2004 and I was in the Otway Ranges with Kerrie, Angus, Steve, Fat Jo, Ben and that woman... Ms... White! thats the one. Ms White. Anyway, So we had just arrived after a day of making a raft and transporting all our gear up a river. not down, it was up. Here is Steve and I transporting the raft up the river. Well... steve isn't doing any transporting, hes just sitting there. here is a slight bit of chaos when there were a few logs blocking our way.Anyway, that really doesn't have much to do with my cow story. However, please note the very sexual position by Trent (blue wetty, yellow PFD, ugly hat) and Fat Jo (behind him, orange hat) - that is what is known as kayak sex. Also note how Ben is taking photos of it. Oh, and I also have a feeling that Fat Jo and Trent are related somehow. So that arvo, we got into camp which was a cow paddock. I was not too partial to the idea of sleeping in a cow paddock. but that is where we set up camp. So little me didn't really have a say. Anyway, we unpacked our gear, put the tents up and whatnot. Then I think we went on a walk or something. When we came back there were cows in our camping ground. There was cow slobber all over the tents, and fresh cow patties all around the place. This is the best picture I have of a tent and cows. but it isn't much proof that there were cows standing on top of our tents.
So naturally, I eventually had to find a tree and relieve myself. So I went into the little runt paddock... hang on. ill draw a picture. Sorry it's in green highlighter.
So we were camping roughly in the middle, and there was a little runt paddock with a small creek (on the left of the map) in the middle, and then there was also a mountain type thing covered in forest. Sorry, I'm poo at explaining. So I went to find a tree in the forest, but I didn't want to go too far in because it was scary, and Fat Jo was doing a crap in there. So I went in a little inny bit and dropped my dacks, when I realised I too had to do a number 2. But it was too late, it had already started its descent, so I couldn't go dig a hole. So I'm sitting there, doing my business. When around the corner comes this Cow (beautiful Jersey Cow actually). and naturally I'm like; "AHHH!" but it wasn't loud enough for the camp to hear, or Fat Jo obviously. So I'm looking around for some form of defense against this cow. It is getting closer and closer to little me who has a bog half hanging. I'm trying to talk to it whilst preying that it can understand english. But I don't think it did. So now its about a meter away from me, just staring at me. I had to finish off my business quickly, cover my... ahh... yeah. and try to escape this pervert cow. But the fat beast is blockin my entire little inny bit. so what do I do? I talk to it some more, telling it too move. After about a minute of that, I prod it. That seemed to be successful. But human contact seemed to be too much for it.
So I was walking back along the track to the gate to get back to the others, and it's just following. So I quicken my pace, and get into a little jog. So what does it do? The cow starts trotting to keep up with me. Then I break into a run, and it starts gallopping. So I'm like... well, it's faster than me, and I have like 200 meters to go, why don't I trick it! So what do I do? I stop. just mid run, I stop, when I have a gallopping cow after me. But no, the cow was too smart, it too stopped, mid gallop. It is quite amazing how quickly cows can stop mid gallop. So I came to the conclusion that the cow didn't want to hurt me. So I walk up to it, and hold my hand out, and it... Without sounding super corny, i dunno... nudged it or whatever. Then I give it a big pat, and I walk back to the gate with it. And yes, I was still talking in english to the cow. So I go off to find Kerrie to show her my new friend. Then Kerrie comes over and the cow walks away.
The rest is kinda boring. But I named her "Dairy Belle" and here is a picture of me and her. How hot are my socks!
That is the story of how I got attacked by a cow, and not a shark.

p.s Megan drove me home tonight p.p.s I had my last real SAC today! (although I still kinda semi have a psych one to go, but it doesn't count.)

mr mullers vests scare me
Mr Muller, Ms Tattersals and the counsellor lady are standing outside my IT class at the moment discussing something that involves large arm movements by Mr Muller.
Personally I don't like him very much. Sure he's nice, and according to some he's "good looking" (ew) but there is something shifty about him. I'm not sure if its those vests he wears that give me that impression, but he is one very shifty character.
This morning was my second last Thursday morning Stage Band rehearsal. how sad.
At the end of Sweet Home Chicago, Mr Fletcher (or if you are japanese, Mr Fresher - i love kumiko) was going mental trying to get Garatts drum fills better. I knew my little bit off by heart, so for the last minute of the song I was just in hysterics watching Mr Fletcher going psycho. It was brilliant. Jono and I were joking about his solos and how he should just play one note repeated, and then just dance. It would be awesome if he did do that for speech night.
And he is also going to get a triangle and ding it just before and just at the end of "The girl form Ipanema" so that it sounds like an elevator door opening and closing. (The Girl form Ipanema is elevator music or even hotel lobby music.)
Ms Hall is making adjustments on our SAC scores at the moment. So hopefully I'll get better than 31, which has already turned into a 36 (out of 40) already. Ms Hall is great. I was just saying to Salona how I would have loved it if she was my year 7 form teacher.
Ahh dammit. I have just been informed that our IT SAC marks only go up by 4 now, instead of 5. Grrr. That means I only got 35/40. grrr.
Dammit, Overwrite keeps turning on. I hate overwrite, when EVER is it used? it's so random.
I have pains... and salona has gone to get chips... well, get a tazo. Meh. I'm lonely. and cold. and I need to wee.
Some child is calling my name outside. ew I just ate a chip off the floor. Hmmm, already have he Tazo. How sad.
It's no ones birthday today. Well... I'm sure there are at least a million people out there celebrating their day of birth. But no one special. Oh wait. no, it's Prince Harry's 21st today. Tommy Lee jones is 59 today as well. Oh, and it's my parents wedding aniversary today.
I share a birthday with Lenin. But Salona wins, she gets Luke Skywalker's birthday... well, mark hamil. I wish I had his birthday. I was in love with him for years. slash, i secretly still am.

Every Journey has a First Step
Wow, normally today would have been a very average day. But today was super special. Here is a quick dot point guid of todays happenings so that you don't have to read the finer details of each (below)
ARIA awards announced
My last music lesson... EVER
Megan got her P's
James asked the Monash guy for his number
My last English SAC... EVER
I.S was semi good, even though Salona wasn't there
IT WAS SARAH'S 18th!!!
Yes, it was indeed little Sarah Clark's 18th birthday today. She's all grown up... *sniff* I remember the days when her ears were too big for her head, and she was sitting at the front of the class with me. Oh those were the days. Mind you, she still sits at the front of the class, and her sex-bomb ears are super, but they fit her head perfectly now. Which reminds me, did you all see sexy sarahs dress/body/ness at her party? My has she grown into a good looking young woman. We must keep the boys away! Oh and thanks Sarah for letting us eat all your chocolates! You're a champ!
Yes, in I.S today we went through our last SAC which I did surprisingly well on, well, for not studying, slash opening my textbook all year. So I was happy. And the general mood in IT today was just pleasant. maybe because it was the lack of Salona and Tim.
Oh yes! I finished my stupid English SAC. I did a collection of short stories. I don't think I did very well though. Which kinda sucks. My last COW I thought I did really well on, but I only got a B+ which I think has brounght my English SAC average down to a B+, so hopefully despite my critisism this one I'll get an A+ or something totally unrealistinc and I'll be back up to an A average. Well, one can only hope.
In Psych today Chrissy, Tim, James and I were doing our ERA thing in the library and in the study centre there was this random from Monash there if anyone wanted to talk about Uni n stuff. And he looked all lonely, he even tried to talk to me but I made a speedy getaway. He was sitting staring at the back of Salonas head for a long time. Anyway, cut short, Chrissy and i dared James Elefanty to ask him for his number. In the end he did ask for his number, and Chrissy and I were in hysterics watching it. But James could only get some other randoms number, not the actual dude himself. So that was quite sad. But still very amusing.
Another amusing thing that happened today was Megan. Well, its not very amusing, i'm really proud and happy actually. She got her P's and she drove all the way to school all by herself. Then after we went and sat in the car, we even drove somewhere! well, about 10 meters down the road and back. Oh I'm so proud of her!!! Her car is pretty damn awesome too! Like I said the other day, it's a little Mazda 121. It was a 94 model for anyone that was interested. And its blue-ish. Somewhere inbetween THIS and THIS colour. Yes so that was very exciting.
That was happy, but there were also sad things today. I had my very last music lesson today. Actually, last week was supposed to be my last lesson but Bain was just like; ahh, it can be "sectionals" for brass ensemble. So that was nice. But I didn't do much playing. Actually mostly I listened to him talk, and play. I'm going to miss Mr Bain next year. He's a good guy.
And finally, the last of my ramblings. The ARIA award nominees and some winners were announced today. Ben Lee has been nominated for
Album of the Year
Best Independant Release
Best Male Artist
Best Pop Release
Single of the Year
Plus he has also won Best Cover Art. How random! Evermore were nominated for a few awards too. Go Them! Actually this year hasn't been totally dominated by Australian Idol dicks. There are some awesome artists nominated. Like Sarah Blasko, Architecture in Helsinki, Beautiful Girls, Ash Grunwald and Lior. So Woo! The only Aussie Idol dicks nominated are that Turd-shit rap kid, Guy dick, and midget dick. Oh and the big girl. But was she the X Factor or whatever ghey that was? Who won X-Factor? and what happened to them?
Meh. I think thats it for toady. or Today even, although I'm sure thats it for toady as well. Mmm, i must watch neighbours tonight. I haven't watched it all week. Theres a bit of old man/woman scandal at the moment. Quite feral.

So tell me baby, can you hear me?
Ok, so today was quite a poo of a day. I went to the Orthodontist this morning, stupid woman, she's so annoying. And then the assistant who put new elastic things on my teeth she couldn't get one on and she managed to smash the heavy metal instrument into my lip which was then smashed bewteen my teeth and the heavy metal intrument while she twisted and fiddled with my braces. Stupid Cow. Did my shrieks of pain give any indication to her that I was slightly uncomfortable with her actions?
And THEN I found out I missed the year 12 photo, but apparently we have to do it again as there were some dicks in the front row that were making obscene gestures.
After that my day ran rather smoothly. I think I did pretty well on the Music SAC, but I wasn't sure if the change was 3rd or 4th. I'm pretty sure it was 3rd. And then, I didn't know if the song was major or minor. meh. but other than that I think I aced it. Go me! Mind you, whenever I think that I go horribly wrong and die a horrble painful death.
Then it was lunch, and I didn't move for the entire 45 minutes. I just sat on the chair with Amy whilst we went through Pollys school bag. It was fun, seriously, it was like going through my Grandmas cupboards! Who knows what you'll find in there.
Lunch finished, and I decided to get up and go to psych. That was fun, well up until Tim and I were neglected from the group, as Chrissy and James decided to do all the work, even if it only included copying what was on a sheet, and really only needed to be done by one person, it was still mean, and I was forced to make conversation with Tim. Who randomly invited me to his party.
Then i had symphonic band. oh the joy. Some people decided to wag band. So they missed out on some super slice that hurt my teeth because of the stupid aggressive orthodontic assistant. At band I also had a good play around with my new mouthpiece, which I totally LOVE by the way. If it was legal for a human to marry a piece of finely made metal, then I'd be a very happy girl.
At home I had some afternoon tea which consisten of breakfast cereal and hot chocolate shots. Then I did my daily ritual of email checking, blog monitoring and message board viewing. I then found out that the new Ben Lee EP will cost me $10.99 - whats with that!!! There is no way I'm forking out that much money. I guess I will have to check all the phone boxes for loose change. And then beg the lovely sales people at JB HiFi. But I thouroughly reccomend the EP, as it include one of my all time favourite Ben Lee songs, Naked. Also known as the song at the end of "the Rage in Placid Lake." Oh, and Amy - he played that song at the Ding Dong gig, it was the one that rocked, and everyone talked through it.
That was my day up until now. And tomorrow is going to be almost as super. I have an English SAC! WOO!

|| update - 8.04pm || Oh and just after my ortho appointment I had an interview with Tats to help me fill out an application form for a Uni, as had no idea how to do it. And she totally freaked me out as the ENTER score USED to be 95, and she didn't know the course changed and shes like, "why the crack are you applying for this you dumbass?" and then we worked out that it had been changed considerably since she last looked at it, there is heaps of less programming and stuff. Programming is the devil.

Every Genreation has a Legend
It was Megans 18th Birthday today, who would have known? Anyway, she got a car, its a little blue Mazda 121 it looked to be about a 97 model, but I'm not too sure, the picture was fairly small. She also got a pearl necklace from Aaron. eek! And I'm not sure, but there was possibly a matching bracelet too. WHATS WITH THAT?!?!?! Anyway, I think for Megans birthday I'll get her a truck monkey. It will fit nicely in the boot, 121's are known for their large boot, for the size of the car that is.
AHHH!!! Snorting TANG is like 100 times worse than wizfiz. AHHH!!! PAIN!!!
Megan is one special girl. Sucks that shes 18 now and can legally go out and I still have to worry about getting ID'd

down down down
The other night I had a dream that I was at my interview for B.BIT at swinburne and I was really nervous, when I got there I realised that there were all these people I knew there. For starters Salona was there with Lisa and Salona was fully stressing and Lisa was checking out Ed Maddock who just randomly appeared. I have no idea where it was set but it seemed really familiar, like I have had dreams there before. Anyway, Paul and Peter (how random) arrived and they were wearing tracksuit pants and I was like, "how random" and then I started freaking out because they were freinds and Paul knew stuff that he wasn't supposed to. Then the lady from the Sunk Loto gig appeared and ushered us all inside. But before we got in the door we heard this "bang bang bang" and we realised that these giant grey rubix cubes were chasing us. So all the geeks and the randoms starting running TOWARDS the giant rubix cubes. Then Isabel appeared at the bottom of the stairs - so there was isabel shouting at us asking for help whilst there were two giant rubix cubes hopping up the stairs with about 20 nerds running towards the rubix cubes. Then Paul randomly turned into Lachlan, my trumpet buddy and we all went back to the room that the Sunk Loto lady tried to usher us into. So we get in there and sit down in a circle and then Noel (my swinburne friend) appears and tells us all about the interview and what we had to do. And thats all I can remember. Oh wait, yeah, and Ian Brown (of stone roses fame) sat down next to me in the circle. and I blushed.

Ravi is picking his nose and it's weirding me
Hello. I was very good and I jsut did an hour of Trombone practice. Go Me! It seems to be my lucky day today, well kinda. I went up to Gregs room to get a trombone and yeah, I got one and I went to find a room. When I opened the crappy old student Yamaha bone up it was a piece of shit, and I doubt it had been played in a very long time. The mouthpiece still smelled like mouthpiece wash. And I think they only get washed at the end of the year. So it hadn't been played all year. So I started playing and realised I needed to lather on slide cream, and after I did that I had a bit of a blow and I'm like wow, this trombone is kinda good. But it wasn't, it was a hunk of shit. But the mouthpiece was a Yamaha 48 which is faily similar to a 6 1/2 which is the one I am saving up for as my 12C is just poo and smells like not very good. So after my hour long practice, I went up and asked Greg if I could borrow the mouthpiece for a while. and he said yes. But I think he only meant like a few days. Meh, I don't think I'll give it back. Or otherwise I'll just swap mine over.
So I was on top of the world and I thought I'd try my chances at Tazo-ing. So I went to the machine and emptied my pocket, and I had the exact amount for a packet of chips, and I thought to myself, wow - today is a lucky day, I am sure to get a good Tazo today. I was semi upset because the BBQ flavoured chips didn't have the Tazo wrapper on them so I had to get some Burger Rings. I raced up to my locker, but I was stopped on the stairs by Ms Tattersal. So I had to make a quick get-away, how do you do this? by making her happy, so I told her I put my uni preferences in on the weekend and she was content so I stormed up the stairs to my locker and opened my Burger Rings.
It took me some time to find the Tazo, for a while I was freaking out that it didn't have one like the Twisties I got once. But I did find the little sliver wrapper and my heart skipped a beat. I was happy. I opened it up and saw the rage-filled eyes of "The Hulk" staring up at me. I was super excited because I was sure that the Hulk would be a great Tazo. But he is only average. (750, 250, 200, 100) How sad.
So that has been my day so far. Oh yeah, and I forgot to say, it was also good because I realised we didn't have maths as Ms Johnson was away! YEY!!!

check print cartridge
Hello All.
I got a new outfit this afternoon. I am very proud of myself. I am now the official owner of a...
SKIRT!!!
Oh My GOODNESS! It was quite a step, and I'm not sure if its the right choice, but it has been done, and there is no turning back. Partially because the skirt was on sale and there are no returns on sale items. Anyway, you shal all see it tonight at sexallent Sarahs sexy shindig. Unless of course you aren't going. Then you may never ever see me in a skirt ever again.
There was one skirt in ROCK in church street that i LOVED, but it was smart-casual which is what Sarah asked for. It was kind of creme coloured and on it down the bottom there was an old looking brown print of these two kids playing in the woods. And it was super nice, and I would have worn it everywhere that I would have gone to if I wasn't wearing either jeans, cords, trackies, boardies, shorts or pinstripes to. It was REALLY nice. Except it was $140 and I would have had to have gotten a top to go with it, so thats another $15 - $30ish and well, I'm not going to pay for that.
But the skirt I did get is really really cool. I think. Actually I wouldn't know because I don't wear or buy skirts, but the lady in the shop liked it. Mind you, she is paid to like it. What is super special about it though is its size. Its a size...
8!!!
*Gasp*Yeah, so maybe its in like... "my size" sizing. (for those that don't know what "my size" is, its a plus size womens clothing chain) but still, it is nice to think that I have a dress in size 8.
Yes, so I shal see you all tonight, maybe. And if I don't because you are going somewhere else, or you are grounded, well... you won't ever get to see me in a skirt that isn't my school skirt.

Emma's D&M post, because Sarah isn't satisfied.
So, to comply with my fan base's needs and wants, I have to write a Deep and Meaningful tonight. I really don't know where to start. Maybe if I write crap it will just come to me.
I'm sick. I constantly have an ear ache, but most of the time I can't notice it unless I remember I have an ear ache. But now it's pulsating like there is no tomorrow. And I need strepsils, but I ran out this afternoon. I hope I'm better by Saturday, as It's Sarahs 18th birthday party. Sarah is super, but she cracked down on my lack of blogging today at lunch. Boy, talk about getting my wrists slapped!
Ok, so I have given up on the D&M - too much effort, and I don't think I'm in the mood tonight. I can talk about my love life though. Well, practically unexistant love life, but it's greater than that of... this guy. Oh wait, my bad. I forgot, he does have a wife. she doesn't look too happy though. Mind you, I doubt I would be if my one-legged husband ran around on the beach. Man I hate the beach.
So, My love life is actually going somewhere kinda. From the start of this year where I had a marriage proposal which totally sucked, as the guys parents were the ones that propsed on his behalf. Hmmm, that was an interesting time in my life. But at the moment, I am really liking this guy I met a couple of weeks ago. But I'm not sure if I want to pursue the whole thing, I mean, exams are coming up, and I'll have no time to do anything, and I'll be a massive stress head. well, i doubt that as I don't really stress. But I think I'm just making excuses. So what do you guys out there think? should I persue this guy? or not? We've been on one date, that was kinda nice, and it went surprisingly smoothly. I need advice. And I also don't know any of this dudes friends, as I found him on the side of the street. Well, actually he found me. So that kinda sucks, for all I know he could be some kind of suicidal, drug taking, depressed, drum playing dick with no life and a bad hairstyle. Mind you, he does like computers, and he's doing the course I desperately want to get into so I think I can rule out most of the above, and he likes good music. Although he has a severe disliking for Ben Lee. Meh. too complicated.
I think I failed my Maths SAC today. No joke. Sometimes I'm like "woah, i totally failed that one" - but this one is for real. Mind you, I really brought it upon myself, so I shouldn't complain. Maybe I should just blame Jono for distracting me. Yes, that sounds good. I'll blame Jono for everything. Although that's a bit harsh. I think i've blamed poor Jon for too many things he doesn't know about.
Ok, so I think I am finally drawing to close tonight. I welcome any comments tonight on anything, from world peace, to stalin, to my love life or even tomorrows weather. Oh, and any comments on whether I should blame Jono for me failing my maths SAC, or whether the blame should fall upon my weak little frail shoulders.
- Em xoxo
p.s I hope you are satisfied Sarah! p.p.s Everyone, It's Ben Lee's birthday on Sunday (and shannons and kate's), Megan's on Monday and sexallent Sarahs on Wednesday! SO DON'T FORGET!!! And it's my birthday in... 225 days!!! YEY!!! GO ME!!! (thats April 22nd for anyone out there deperately trying to count to 225 on their fingers and toes. oh, and I'll be 18!!!)
So today was the wrap of the Vic Kayaking Champs, and St L's did pretty damn well considering that we suck. We ended up winning nothing indevidually, possibly losing every event that we entered... except mine... technically (mind you, technically I also missed the 9th gate on my second run, so there isn't much to be said there. stupid rulebook.)
So we walked away with a bronze medal, by me - that was growing mold. And the *drum role* championship trophy for the best small school. GO US! we actually beat people to win this one. so I'm quite proud of the team. Well, when I say we beat "people" - I mean a sole 13 year old boy from mordialloc secondary college. But still, he had a 100% bronze medal rate for everything he entered, and we had a 100% lose rate, so I'm not sure what happened there, but it's all OK as the St Leonards College Kayaking team now has a trophy to put up in the Hawkes Sports Centre trophy cabinet. GO US!
In other news. Warwick Draper (I almost wrote Capper then, but restrained) - the olympian dude remembered me, AND my name!!! THat means he knows who I am!!! YEY!!! and now Angus can vouch for me in his good-looking-ness. As I introduced Wazza to Gus. That conversation was excitement and a half, let me tell you! And before the ceremony, the St L's team, minus me (as I have the coordination of my printers ink jet cartridge) started to play their bi-annual game of hackey sack, when none other than Waz the Olympian joined in, then afterwards Alex goes to me, "so who was that random man that started playing hackey sack with us?" and then I told him, and he was very impressed, not only is Wazza good at kayaking, but he is also mighty talented with his sacks.
So that was the day, I would bore you all with the details of my runs, but I won't. No actually I will as I need to document it as this blog has overridden my diary, which was its original intention, except people started reading it and commenting. So anyway, my first solo run was pretty poor, I missed gate 9, I was going to go back for it, but I was paddling full steam and I just wasn't going to make it through the water. Like yesterday, the river was rushing down at probably the fastest I've ever seen it around this time of year, the course was almost washed out, and they were going to move it downstream to another harder rapid, but I think there were too many snags blocking all the good lines, so it was back to the usual place. So my first run was good, I got about 188 seconds, which is pretty poor considering. But there was no way I was going to beat the other girls, they had both been to state training squads together and even though they were from different schools, they were both really close, as friends and their times. They were both around the 150-160 mark. So I was way off. The Stephanie girl is getting much better, I used to beat her in the day, and last year I was 3 seconds off her time, so I guess she actually trains, rather than just flailing about a 25m pool for a couple of sessions before the comp. And the girl that I did beat last year, cained both Steph and I. But she was a tank.
In other news, I had a hot date tonight, that went well, but I'm not actually going to write about that. And I didn't end up seeing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory either. So maybe the date didn't go as well as planned, as any date with Johnny Depp is a good date. Anyway, must be off. I've had a big morning/day/night.
- Em xoxo
|| UPDATE THING || - well, I also forgot to mention that it is fathers day. so ummm... happy fathers day all dads out there. Amd wait... i forgot something else... but i can't remember what, im typing aimlessly trying to remember what it was. OH YEAH!
THERE WERE NO DAMN SPOT PRIZES!!! I thought we were bound to clean up this year in the spot prizes, but alas there were non. or otherwise they did them after St L's left, as we are the champions of spot prizes. Oh well, theres always next year. Well... sadly not for me.
Amy Chapman is oficially an adult, and she can vote, and go for her P's and see R-rated movies, and leave home without child services going angro!
AMY is 18 today! and will be for the next 364 days! YEY!!! hip-hip HOORAY! hip-hip HOORAY!!! hip-hip HOORAY!!!
she is so special. I hope she liked our combined present too. It was a split-record type thing, one side was Something for Kate, one of her all time favourite bands, and the other side has a couple of Jebediah songs on it, and Jebs are one of her favourite bands as well (hence her email address!) pity it didn't have a third and fouth side to it of Tori Amos and Muse - how random would that record have been!
As I type here, waiting to go to school for yet another day of paddling, and where each keystroke digs deeper into my headache - damn I should have watched myself with those daiquiris (spell?) - they are slightly more potant than first expected! Hopefully all seedy-ness will be gone by 9.30 when my first race is. ugh. I really want a medal this year. All other years I've gotten one, but this year I'm really doubtful, as I'm competing against girls who are fitter, stronger and slightly better looking than me. (!!!) Plus they have been training all year, and my main rival who I have been racing against since I was 13 has grown these massive arms, and she goes to Ivanhoe, who train like every day of their lives. Stupid fit girl who once called me the "big chick with glasses" grrr.
I will calm my anger by remembering Amy open her present last night. Ahhh. Beaustiful Isabel went nuts when she opened hers too. She fell to the ground and it was amazing. Shes such a beautiful girl. I want her babies. Well, I want her and Amy to make babies, and then I want to adopt those lesbian-love babies and keep them for myself.
Anyway, must be off. tis time to go. so tallyho!

TANG - original Orange Flavour instant drink
Kayaking was super fun today. Except the op-shop was closed. And the river was very fast which made for a quick run. Too quick actually, if I had known how short the course was and how fast the water was moving I would have paddled harder, and possibly gotten something better that what I did. Although the girls that beat me were down to the 17 minute mark, and I was still in the 19minute zone. meh. I'm happy with 3rd. no complaints. At least I beat my aim, which was 20 mins. so woo! go me!
I should have entered the girls open, then I was guarenteed a silver placing. grrr!
Congrats to Kai Leonie too, who also got 3rd in his division. Even if it was out of 3. Alex Thompson should have got 3rd as well, although a late entry pushed him back to 4th.
Tomorrow there are going to be spot prizes, so thats what I'm holding out for. St Leonards has been very lucky with spot prizes in the past, with an average gross of 30% each year. We rock. I'm aiming for the rash vest this year, drink bottles just don't cut it anymore.
meh, off for me to go get things ready for Isabels and Amy's big bash tonight.

make my way through the milky way
Hmmm... my boss showed some sex-appeal today. well, it was only really sex appeal to me. and possibly anyone in my IT class. He was telling me about his set-up of his computers at home. He has a desktop used for gaming, a laptop for business related stuff, and a 300Gb server. his apartment is all wireless. He also has a whole downloading thing set up, his server each night conects to bearshare, and downloads... movies mainly and software - no music, he made that clear. which is good, because hes bringing me movies next week to borrow. yey!
now. i think i might go to bed beacue i have to be at school at 7.40 in the morning. School and early mornings will have the death of me I swear! Did i mention that tomorrow is a SATURDAY!!!
Must go.
- Archie Bright xoxo
tomorrow i am doing the unthinkable...
I am actually going to exercise! AH!
I was just watching Harry Potter as Angus told me that I could sleep in today, so I did, but seeing as though I haven't actually had a real sleep-in in some weeks, I found it quite a hard tast so I got up at 8.45 and then got some breakfast and started to watch Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban. So I was watching it and I got the usual rush when Harry spots Sirius in the bushes, and the usual laughs when the fat woman blows up, and the usual sigh of relief when the night-bus saves harry from... the dark. But something that wasn't usual, was my excitememnt when Harry first enters the Leaky Cauldren.
You see, there is a rather good looking and talented wizard in there reading a book and stirring his soup. I have NEVER noticed it before, but I don't know if it was the 4 hot chocolate shots I had for breakfast, or the odour coming from my dog, but something in me goes "hey, that dirty wizard looks just like Ian Brown" - so I looked through the credits and didn't see his name, or anyone else that could have been that character. So I came on to my trusty yet rusty computer and looked it up, and sure enough. Mr Brown is the dude in the leaky Couldren.
I think I might watch Harry Potter more often now.
Oh, and for those that have absolutely no idea what crack I'm smoking - Ian Brown is the ex-lead singer of the 80's/90's band, the Stone Roses. He also sings one of my all time favourite songs, AND he is just super cool. (and super up himself, but so is Lisa - and we still love ehr to pieces!)
ALSO, tomorrow I am paddling 4km randomly down the Yarra for the Victorian Schools Downriver Kayaking Championships, so please, if you could direct all your flowers, and gifts of adoration to my home address, and NOT to me directly, as I wouldn't like to be bogged down. And could you all please refrain from throwing me bunches of flowers to me at the finish line, despite the attractiveness, it is actually quite distracting. The same rules apply for the Slalom championships on Sunday.
