"sweet things and nasties"

Today was interesting. I had to work over at the Toorak Browns. It's totally different from the Brighton store, thats for sure. It has a restarant as well, so I had to take orders and waitress, and clean tables as well as the average coffee making, bread slicing (they have THE most horrble bread slicer in the WORLD in Toorak) pastry gathering, dish washing, sweeping, and constant smiling (it hurts after a while, believe me!)

Toorak is home to the snobbiest people in the world. They are even worse than Brighton people.
Today, I was new to the store, as was another girl. It was the Chefs first day, the coffee makers first day and the new girls first day. So 5 of the 8 employees that worked that day were totally new to the Toorak store. It was chaos central. One of the normal toorak employees was the biggest bitch! she was so arrogant too! Plus if she did something that inconvienienced you, she would apologise or acknowledge that she was poo, she just kind of scowled all the time. When her little toorak employee friend arrived they hugged and then she whispered something in her ear. The whisper-ee then turned and looked at the new girl and me with a really bitchy face.
I'm not going back to Toorak again. They are unorganised, dirty and mean. Well, the manager, chef and coffee boy were all nice. The coffee boy, Jack was a munchkin too. maybe i'll go back just for him. ;)

Then I came home and found out that Ben Lee is doing a bunch of Melbourne shows whilst I'm in Byron Bay for schoolies. How poo is that!

I did have a good laugh this arvo about something that you will read in the next post.

- Em xoxo
