Emma's Awesome & U can polish my horn anytime
just got back from work. i burnt my thumb. it hurts. and right now i am procrastinating calling... someone.
Yesterday all I did was work. I slept, woke up, packed the tent up, went to work, came home, napped, ate and slept some more. Why am I sleeping so much? BECAUSE I HAVE NO MORE SCHOOL!!!
That's right. I have finished school forever and ever, and ever.
I finished all my classes on thursday. Here are some assorted pictures from the day.

The above one is of me and my little dude that I made in Year 4, thats on a mural in the junior school.

music was my last ever class, and it was a really cool way to finish my life at school. Then that night we all went back to school for the carnival. There was a jumping castle that no one jumped on, and a lot of water wasted from a very large water fight.
Here is lisa - in typical a typical lisa fahion, chasing after someone and throwing large buckets at people with large underwear.

This next one is of the jelly eating competition. Click on it to see the beautiful expressions on peoples faces.

And the following is Megan with my immitation piss-weak Super Soaker. Actually it probably didn't even have the force of piss. It was like a dribble.

And here is a picture of Polly after printing our hands on a sheet. The paint was something like food colouring, soap powder and water.

after that, the dudes (Me, Megan, Salona, Amy, Polly, Lucy, Larissa, Isabel and ahh... Maller) came back to my place for celebrations. It was quite subdued, but fun none the less.
We all squished into a mega tent c/o Megan's Mum, and drank, gossipped, reminisced, drank, played "truth or fib" which later turned into truth or truth, and eventually, we slept - for like an hour. (hence my current sleepishness.) At about midnight, or just past - there was a big bang, followed by a blackout. This wasn't fun. For a few minutes we sat there in silence waiting for an axe murderer to come and chop my fence down. But then we decided to go and explore, as we heard sirens. So Lucy, Salona and myself decided to run half way to the end of Centre Road, but then we were puffed, so we came back.
The photos of this event are mega poor as in... there were none, except one where i accedentally pressed the button on the camera, and scared everyone. So there are none of the blackout, just some random ones of the tent and stuff...

Then we all got up at 5am to go down to the non-existant beach party. We went via taxi. Which i think was free, as i just checked my account last night and they charged me $23 then credited me $23 - so woo!
So we went up to school, and found that it was totally trashed. The bits that were actual pranks were mighty cool, like the undie everywhere. But some dicks decided to trash the place, and smash windows and what not.

Does anyone have a picture of the tree?
After that we went down to hampton street, came back in time for the valedictory breakfast. Which was yum. Here we sat around and talked, ate and eventually got our time capsules that we made in year 7. Mine was piss weak. I'll take pictures of it later when i can be bothered.
Here are some photos I prepared earlier.

Above is my time capsule. I don't know why I drew penuts. I don't even like penuts.

Then we had speeches. That was fun. Some people cried, I almost cried watching other people cry. It was really sad yet happy.
After that we got our memorabilia, and got our dresses/shirts signed. There were some awesome comments on mine. Some standouts were Pats, Lachlans, Toms and Sarahs, Salona's and Lucys. I had such a good time that night reading them all. Thanks guys!
Then I had to scedaddle, as I had work. Joy. Then yeah... the rest is pretty boring. I slept, and woke up, and yeah, as above.
In the end, it was a sad few days for me. I did cry, but on Wednesday. I thought i would be able to hold the fort until at least friday morning. But I then let a few go on thursday afternoon when the bell rang.
I've had a pretty awesome time at school. St Leonards really was fantastic, even though I had some pretty shitty moments, but hey - c'est la vie!
I think the one thing that has gotten me through it all has been my friends. From Prep when I had Lisa, Zoe, Azza - to grade 2 when I met Charl, grade 3 when I became mates with Brodz, grade 4 with Katherine and grade 5 with Pol, grade everything else for the rest of my plethora of fantasic friends. I love them all.
My teachers rocked too. well, with a few exceptions. But there were some pretty awesome teachers throughout my school life. And they rocked.
