So today was totally joyful. 2 maths exams! Woo!
In the middle of them I had a brass rehearsal which means I got to spend 2 hours with Thomas the Tuba player. (and 2 hours with lachlan. :D ) and Greg who I think is going through the early stages of male menopause.
However in the second half of the rehearsal Rosie came along so that we could practice Blaserspiel und Echoklang (that means Brass piece with an Echo - for all you non-germans out there)
Rosie, for those that are unfamiliar - came into year 10 half way through this year. she has "the 'S' word" and she plays the Euphonium really good, and the Trombone fairly well (better than I can play Euphonium though)
So she was a bit late as she had come straight from work. Fair enough, the girl has to make some moo-lah somehow. Rosie is a very pretty, friendly and super cool person. She is like me, but better in everyway. I'm sure everyone out there knows someone just like that.
Anyway, so I go to her; "so how was work?" and she replied polietly with your standard "yeah, it was good" - curious to know where she worked... i asked her. And she goes to me "Browns Bakery."
In my head I'm just like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!"
I swear this girl is my exact twin - just better. Even Angus likes her better than me. even Me, Lisa and Lucy COMBINED!!!
Did I mention she's cool, smart, funny, pretty and talented? She even made it onto the front of the school magazine last week. Although, most people look at the magazine then throw it out. If anyone cares to remember back to 2004 - I was Miss November on the School Calendar. And people look at that for an ENTIRE MONTH!!! - advantage Emma
She's been working at Browns for 2 weeks - but I bet she's way better at me at getting bread and making coffees.
