the day santa claus got fired
Hmm... it's a sad day in my family today. A bunch of people got fired from my mums work today, a lot of which were family friends.
One man that got laid off was a really, really good friend of everyone in my house. I did work experience with him, he was my mums mentor... kinda, and my dads drinking buddy at corporate events. But i think the thing that will stay in everyones mind is Santa.
At the Channel 9 Kids Chirstmas party at the end of each year, Santa would come and giver all the kids aged under 13 years a present. And he was mighty generous too! We got cameras and bikes and barbir doll houses and personal organisers and really cool things like that, Uncle Kerry took care of the bill of course. But it was Santa that made them special. But now there will be no more Santa... becuase he was fired too. *sniff*
No one will ever replace Russ/Santa.
