100 things about me

1. I was born in Cabrini Hospital; Carlton, Melbourne on the 22nd of April, 1988
2. My full name is Emma Fleur Steel
3. If i popped out of my mum as a boy i was going to be called Rowan
4. I was born partially blind and at 12 months i had an operation to correct my eyes
5. at 13 months i got my first pair of glasses. they were attached to my tiny head with elastic
6. I had a tumor in my belly when i was about 3 - i was in hospital for about 2 or 3 weeks
7. I went to kindergarten at Brighton Juniors
8. I started school in 1993 at St Leonards College
9. I was born with blue eyes and blonde hair, but gradually my eyes are going green and my hair is now brown.
10. Mrs Chisholm was my prep teacher, she rocked. Her husband was then my grade 6 and 7 teacher, he didn't rock
11. I met Charlotte Chaudet in year 2. We were best friends almost immediately.
12. My favourite chocolate bar is Kit Kat Chunky. But that new "Boost" bar comes mighty close
13. In grade 3 i started to read goosebumps books
14. Half way through grade 4, my best friend charlotte left to go and live in queensland
15. I have a pet dog named archie - i got him for my 5th birthday
16. for my 6th birthday i gave my dog to my mum
17. as a graduating present in year 3 i got my Cat, "Socks"
18. I usually act tougher than what i actually am
19. In year 6 i had a horrible teacher called Mr Chisholm. He was the devils son. we rejoiced when he went on long service leave for a term (term 3) only to find that the school put us in the care of the devil. his alias however was Ms Daverend. *shivers*
we were thankful to have Chisholm back
20. I prefer winter over summer

22. I visited france for the first time in 1995
23. I studied japanese for 7 years. I've been to japan twice

48. In year 8 my form teacher was Ms Yamamura, on camp she came into the camping ground and cock-a-doodle-dooed like a japanese rooster.

54. I am the team manager of the St Leonards College Kayak club
55. In 2002 i won the U15 girls slalom kayaking medal at the VIC schools kayak championships. in 2004 i came 3rd.
56. As of the 1st of June 2005, i am a person who wears contacts.
57. I wear braces to correct my grossely crooked teeth.
58. I like the colours, blue, yellow, puple and turquoise.
59. When i was obsessed with monsters in primary school my favourite colours were green and purple.
60. I support the Carlton Blues AFL team
61. my favourite foods are homemade spaghetti, sushi from the shop in church st, and homemade roast beef.

63. Along with my monsters, goosebumps and spice girls obsessions in year 4, i was absolutely in love with all things star wars. i had a daily countdown for Episode 1, 2 and 3.
