Hello, Bonjour, Hola, Ni hao, Guten Tag, Nahmahstay, Selamat pagi, Magandang tanghali po, Zdravstvuite & Sekoh

OK, so i was a bit unhappy with my last hit-counter (that thingy with numbers on it, down the left hand side of the page) because it just counted hits. So whenever i refreshed the page it would go up by one. So, i decided to get a new one that counted each person, rather than the number of times they refreshed, and i found this nifty little one called W3Counter and oh my, it does some fascinating things! (I'm such a geek, i know!) Angus and I were playing around with it last night, and it tells you where each person lives... (well not really, it just has their IP address, which any computer geek should know tells you where they live.) and the date they first logged on, how many times they have viewed the page their screen size, browser, Operating System (yes hello those three random Mac users) and colour bit-rate.
So anyway, we were amazed by all the international hits, (I've had people from the US, UK, Singapore, Phillepines, Spain, France & some country east of Italy, oh, and Italy.) so i got the code for this french thingy which has a little world map and a little light that comes on at the point where you live... hmmm, its hard to explain. Maybe Angus could do a better explanation. But anyway, i'm getting rid of the world map because its ugly. (I'm so shallow!)

p.s Did you know that the word chutney comes originally from the Hindi language?
p.p.s new international people, feel free to leave a message! we'd love to here from you.
