"Let's go on a day trip!"
Last night was our schools annual church service. Absolutely riveting event. I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through. *sarcasmic face*
Because I play the trombone, there are a few unspoken terms or even, a "contract" that goes with playing the trombone whilst at school, and that is; Playing Fanfares at school church services. This one was a brilliant one too... damn 6th to 2nd to 6th to 2nd positions about 100 times. Good thing i brought the Bass, oh how i love the trigger! Anyway, i was forced to play in the fanfare at the start, and i was also in the orchestra.
Quite an interesting night. Orchestra was right at the end, and the fanfare was at the start so me and a friend snuck out the back of the church and went to find food. Very exciting as you can imagine. or not.
I also managed to have a few interesting converations with Lachlan, the trumpet player.
And we walked onstage when we weren't supposed to. NOT MY FAULT
The trumpet teacher had "one
light beer" and was dancing around to all the hymns. And even making up his own hymns when there were none to dance to. Funny man.
Ah, how i love school church services. Good work to those who did things that were actually productive. You know who you are, speshly A.
